NIGERIAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE ON DRUG ABUSE (NLCDA)

The Nigerian Leadership Conference on Drug Abuse (NLCDA) is the apex gathering of the most important leaders in Nigeria across all sectors meant to discuss and share valuable insights, proffer solutions and make commitments to deal with the issue of drugs and substance abuse  in their sphere of influence and the country at large. Drug abuse is fast  becoming a pandemic in Nigeria across all sectors of society but particularly amongst the youths and that is why the need for this conference has  simply become imperative.  As a matter  of fact,  the pandemic of drug abuse in Nigeria right now would literally consume every single family in the nearest future if something serious is not done about it immediately. Unlike other issues that can be left for only the government of the day and its agencies to tackle and deal with whenever they are able to if they are ever able to, the issue of drug and substance abuse is simply too important and dangerous for that. Drug abuse is an issue that needs everyone, especially influential leaders, state governments, federal government, and corporate bodies across all sectors of the society to be part of and play a role one way or another. That is why a conference like the NLCDA is extremely crucial and all leaders in Nigeria must endeavor to attend and participate.
